What is a MMPI Test?

MMPI Test is the acronym for Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory. This test aims to objectively evaluate individuals’ personal and societal compatibility. This test is the most preferred test to diagnose mental health conditions.

Why is MMPI So Important?

Based on the researches, applying MMPI personality test is one of the easiest and most objective methods of understanding the personality traits and detecting psychological disorders. MMPI Test, acronym for Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory, is the most reliable personality test in the world and in our country. This test is a psychological test developed as a personality inventory and personality analysis test to be used for determining the personality traits. Test questions have been developed in USA and adapted to Turkey as MMPI Test by professors. High level of reliability, and low margin of error helps us while choosing our private security personnel and during their employment period. This test is the only and most reliable scientific personality test in the world.

What kind of information does this test provide?

With MMPI Test, psychological traits other than mental disorders such as individuals’ family problems, anger and anxiety problems, work-related problems, interpersonal communication problems, self-confidence, anti-social traits, health anxiety and way of thinking can also be evaluated. It is used in psychiatry clinics in order to diagnose: Depression, Hypochondriasis (Concern with bodily symptoms), Hysteria (Conversion), Psychopathic Deviate, Masculinity / Femininity (Sexual orientation and preferences), Paranoia (Suspiciousness), Psychasthenia (Obsession-Compulsion) Schizophrenia, Hypomania (such as emotional disorder, anger outburst), Social Introversion (shyness)

How is the evaluation process?

Application Scope: MMPI multidimensional personality inventory does not only measure mental health disorders and conditions. In addition to determination of whether one has psychological disorders or not, it can also determine the general characteristics and reveal the normal personality traits of the applied person.

This inventory is applicable to anyone, but our armed security personnel hold greater responsibility with higher risk factors. Therefore, we use this test for both newly recruited and existing personnel to evaluate their suitability for the job and identify their improvement areas.
